Our Musical Debut

August 24, 2016
  • Learning Through Song

We understand as well as any parent how powerful music and song can be when it comes to encouraging, inspiring and learning with our children.

We want your preschool sessions with our curriculum to be special and more than just lesson plans with cute printables!

We felt that singing would help make your child’s preschool experience more enjoyable. Luckily, we know somebody.

    Meet Jennie,

    Jennie Family

Jennie Bangerter Larsen has been playing the piano for 30 years and writing music for 15 years. She has produced six solo piano albums of songs she arranged or composed.  Her music has also been featured on History of the Saints (a TV documentary series), and Onward Alone (a historical documentary), as well as various compilation albums.  Jennie received her Bachelor of Music in Media Music from Brigham Young University in April 2004.  She and her husband, Shane, have 5 amazing kids who are beginning to learn various instruments and love to sing!  Jennie directed an interfaith choir of 100 singers for 4 years in Katy, TX and is currently a choir director and accompanist for Katy Youth Choir.  She enjoys writing original music for special occasions and loves creating music that uplifts and inspires.  Visit JennieBLarsen.com to discover more of Jennie’s music or request a personalized song!

Listen below to check out our newest songs. They are the opening and closing songs that the children will sing every lesson.
In addition to our opening and closing songs, we will also have other songs for various learning activities throughout the year. We will have examples of these songs uploaded for you to use as a resource should you not be familiar with the tunes.

  • This will be our opening song that the children will sing during circle time.

We wanted a song that was fun and upbeat to get the children excited for the day.

We also wanted to have ways for them to interact so the song was crafted with places for each child to yell out their name.

We think this song accomplished all those goals!

There will be multiple tracks based on the number of children to further customize your preschool experience.

  • Here is our closing song for the day.

After a fun-filled day at school we wanted the children to wind down before they were picked up by their parents.

We also wanted them to leave with a spirit of calmness, thinking of the Savior.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
