Come Follow Me (Preschoolers) January 2021

January 16, 2021

I am looking forward to reading the Doctrine & Covenants with my family. This year I have outlined my family’s scripture study plan slightly different than last year to make up for my kids not having primary. If you want your lesson to be wonderfully super simple like last year, just do the first lesson and ignore the rest!

Each weekly lesson consists of four main parts.

  1. Family Target Objective
  2. Let’s Study Together
  3. Let’s Sing Together
  4. Let’s Play Together

I feel this will work well for my crew at least until we get to attend primary again. I am sharing my personal plan with you that is ready for my own family. Adapt it however is best for your family.

Each lesson can be completed in one sitting or spread throughout different nights of the week.

This year to add extra excitement to our Come Follow Me learning, my family painted a simple unfinished wooden mailbox. When we are ready for a Come Follow Me lesson, the activity lesson plan and any needed materials will be inside the box for my children to take out.

If you want to do something similar, lots of household objects can be made into a mailbox or you can pick up one like mine here (affiliate).

You can pick up the rest of January’s lesson plans below:

We would love to hear what is working for your family with Come Follow Me! You can PM us on our facebook or Instagram accounts.

Wishing you a wonderful experience for you and your family as you implement Come Follow Me this year.
